Chantelle Pleasant

Articling Student



Chantelle is an articling student at Heft Law. Chantelle completed her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School with a focus on Litigation, Dispute Resolution, and the Administration of Justice in 2024. Prior to studying law, Chantelle worked as a law clerk and office manager for 10 years. She integrated and mentored new team members and assisted with training law clerk and paralegal students. She gained valuable experience in family law, criminal defence, and civil litigation.

Chantelle is the mom of 4 wonderful children. She understands how precious children are, and the importance of implementing and obtaining creative resolutions to protect their best interests. Chantelle also recognizes that family matters can be messy, and sometimes becoming a warrior is required in order to advocate for the client and obtain best results. With this outlook, she diligently works towards supporting clients and assisting with resolving legal issues.

During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children, family, and friends. Chantelle loves to travel to warm destinations and won’t say no to a day at the spa. She enjoys mentoring law students and participating in community events.
