Piruthika Selvashandren

Associate Lawyer



Piruthika completed her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at Queen Mary University of London and obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Osgoode Hall Law School. Thereafter, she was called to the bar.

Piruthika developed a strong interest in family law during her five-month placement at the Brampton Superior Court under the Pro Bono Students Canada Family Law Project, while completing her graduate studies. This experience deepened her understanding of the challenges families face within the legal system and inspired her to pursue a career in family law.

Prior to joining the firm, Piruthika articled at a boutique law firm in Brampton, Ontario and later practiced at a boutique law firm in North York, where she gained valuable experience assisting clients with a wide range of family law matters. Piruthika's practice covers all areas of family law, and she assists clients with issues such as decision-making responsibility, parenting time, child support, spousal support, and the division of property.

She is committed to assisting clients through one of the most difficult transitions of their lives.

Outside of her professional life, Piruthika enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and her Maltipoo, Cocoa.

She is also fluent in Tamil.
